Pushpa 2 star Allu Arjun who was arrested on Friday had to spend a night in the jail over the stampede in Hyderabad theatre that killed a woman and seriously injured a child. The reports of Allu Arjun’s arrest had spread shockwaves across the world among fans and his supporters.

Meanwhile, actress Rashmika Mandanna who is also part of Pushpa 2, also extended her support for the stylish star and expressed her shock on his arrest. Taking to her X handle, the stunning diva shared that the situation is both unbelievable and heartbreaking.

“I can’t believe what I am seeing right now… The incident that happened was an unfortunate and deeply saddening incident. However, it is disheartening to see everything being blamed on a single individual. This situation is both unbelievable and heartbreaking,” Rashmika tweeted.

The actress shares a very close bond with Allu Arjun and expressed her discontentment over his arrest. However, the Pushpa 2 actor was released from Chanchalguda prison on Saturday after he got bail from the High Court.

Meanwhile, Allu Arjun begged pardon for the incident and expressed his condolences to the bereaved family.

“I would like to once again express my condolences to my family. It was an unfortunate incident. We are sorry for what happened,” Allu Arjun said after stepping out of the jail.

Speaking to reporters at his residence in Hyderabad’s Jubilee Hills, Allu Arjun reiterated that the stampede and the woman’s death was purely accidental, unintentional and had no connection to him. He added that he had been coming to Sandhya theatre since 20 years, but had never witnessed any untoward incident.

He also vowed to stand with the woman’s family and extend all possible help.

Apart from Rashmika Mandanna, actor Varun Dhawan also stood by Allu Arjun and said, “Safety protocols can’t be solely the responsibility of an actor. We can inform people around us. The incident was tragic and I express my condolences, but blame can’t be placed on just one person.”
