Rashmika Mandanna accepts holidaying with Vijay Deverakonda, addresses dating rumours

Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda pair has received a lot of love from the audience ever since they first worked together in Geetha Govindam. Although after that they have worked on only one movie Dear Comrade, fans have been unrelentingly shipping their pair triggering speculations and rumours about their affair.

Importantly, the presence of Rashmika at Vijay’s household functions or even during his family holidays in Goa last year further fueled discussions about their romance on social media.

Interestingly, the two even went together on a Maldives vacation which many believed sort of cemented their romantic bonding further. However, all through these years while the rumours about Vijay and Rashmika being in a relationship kept on making rounds, the two actors never confirmed the same.

Now, recently, the Mission Majnu actress finally decided to address this gossip and said that she is not in a relationship with Vijay Deverakonda.

Although she accepted that the two had gone on a Maldives trip together, the heart crush of India simply asked, “What’s wrong in going on a trip with him?” Now that definitely sounds as if the two are just good friends.

On the work front, Rashmika Mandanna’s recent OTT release Mission Majnu received good reviews from the critics. But the movie failed to create a buzz that was so much important to give a boost to Rashmika’s Bollywood career. Her last theatrical release Varisu with Thalapathy Vijay did very good business but this particular movie benefitted the Southern superstar more.

Rashmika still has another Bollywood movie Animal with Ranbir Kapoor whose last release Brahmastra was a big hit. The actress needs good stories and big banners so that she can create a place for herself in B-Town.

For Vijay Deverakonda, the massive debacle of Dharma-produced Liger was a big shock. And it seems he has given up on his aspirations to try his luck further in Bollywood.
