The unusual credit of Rahul Gandhi as Executive Producer led to a storm of memes, with many joking that the Congress leader had now forayed into Bollywood.

Amid the online chatter, the truth came out quickly. The Rahul Gandhi named in the credits is not the politician, but a noted film producer with several acclaimed projects to his name. His production portfolio includes hits like Akshay Kumar’s Rustom, Manoj Bajpayee and Samantha’s The Family Man, SonyLIV’s Rocket Boys, Taapsee Pannu’s Blur, and the upcoming Lucky Bhaskar.

Meanwhile, the makers of Dhurandhar have planned a grand reveal. The film’s first look will be showcased in cinemas this weekend, attached to the release of Param Sundari starring Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor. The teaser, with a runtime of 2 minutes and 42 seconds, has already received a U/A 16+ certification from the CBFC.

Helmed by National Award-winning director Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar, also starring Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna, R Madhavan, Arjun Rampal and Sara Arjun, among others, is slated to release in theatres on December 5, 2025.
