Riddhima Kapoor Sahni is all set to make her acting debut this year, following the illustrious footsteps of her mother Neetu Kapoor, late superstar father Rishi Kapoor, brother Ranbir Kapoor, and sister-in-law Alia Bhatt. Her first-ever Bollywood outing, tentatively titled DKS or Dadi Ki Shaadi, also stars Neetu Kapoor and comedian Kapil Sharma.
But even before Riddhima’s big screen moment, it is her daughter Samara Sahni who has managed to steal the spotlight with an adorable ‘launch’- this time on YouTube.
Farah Khan’s Vlog Surprise
Filmmaker Farah Khan, accompanied by her popular cook Dilip, recently visited Riddhima’s Delhi home to shoot an episode for her vlog. While the episode featured some mouthwatering Beetroot Tikkis made by Riddhima, Farah, and Dilip, it was young Samara who completely stole the show- so much so that she hilariously made the director reshoot a scene.
Star Kid's Entry in Style
Towards the end of the vlog, Farah introduced the audience to Rishi Kapoor’s granddaughter, Samara Sahni. Calling her the “star of the family,” Farah barely got the words out before Samara confidently walked into the frame- facing the camera with the poise of a seasoned model.
The little star greeted Farah warmly, engaged in a short conversation about Ranbir Kapoor and Rishi Kapoor being her favourite actors, and then casually asked if she could check the monitor to see how her shot looked.
Farah Predicts a Future Heroine
The moment left Riddhima shocked, while Farah exclaimed, “Oh my god, yeh heroine banegi. Yeh ladki heroine banegi. Pehle usko jaake monitor dekhna hai.” Though Farah assured Samara that she looked great, the young one wasn’t entirely convinced. With the confidence of a budding actress, she innocently suggested, “Should we film again?”
Netizens Can’t Stop Gushing
The clip quickly went viral, with netizens showering love on Samara’s spontaneous charm. Interestingly, during an episode of Karan Johar’s Fabulous Lives vs Bollywood Wives, Riddhima had earlier revealed that Samara dreams of becoming an actor someday, with Ananya Panday as her favourite star.
Well, it looks like Ranbir Kapoor’s daughter Raha already has some competition in the family, and fans are cheering for Samara’s sparkling entry into the limelight.
