Bollywood actress Alia Bhatt is one of the top actresses known for her versatility and captivating performances. Be it Highway, Udta Punjab, Raazi or Gangubai Kathiawadi, Alia slayed her roles with utmost perfection and won the hearts of moviegoers. She debuted in 2012's romantic-comedy Student of The Year. Throughout her career spanning 12 years, Alia has worked in over 20 films and shared screen space with Varun Dhawan, Siddharth Malhotra, Ranveer Singh, Vicky Kaushal, Ranbir Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, Shah Rukh Khan and a few others. But, do you know with whom Alia has better chemistry?
Though Alia has worked in movies with different male actors, she has paired more times with Varun Dhawan and Ranveer Singh. While she debuted with Varun in SOTY, she further paired with him in Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania, Badrinath ki Dulhania and Kalank. On the other hand, she worked with Ranveer in Gully Boy and Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani. The audience loved Alia's onscreen chemistry with Varun and Ranveer and the movies had good box office performance. However, when Alia was asked with whom she has better chemistry, Alia named Varun.
Earlier when Alia graced Karan Johar's chat show 'Koffee With Karan: Season 7' with Ranveer, during the rapid round, KJo asked the actress with whom she has great chemistry on the screens.
Well, before Alia answered, Ranveer interrupted and suggested his co-star take his name. Even Alia initially mentioned Ranveer, though she stated the question to be a tough one. However, she suddenly changed her answer and said, "Varia (Varun and Alia) fans will be very upset. Varun and I have the best chemistry."
In the same round, Alia mentioned that her co-star and husband Ranbir Kapoor is punctual which is a quality that Ranveer doesn't have. Moreover, she also stated that RK dances with ease, unlike Ranveer.
Alia's reply left Ranveer surprised and he started leaving the show. However, KJo called him back. The Lootera actor asked the makers to send him an edited version of the episode. Moreover, while returning to the couch, Ranveer called Alia "crazy" for stating Ranbir Kapoor as a better dancer than him and that she having great chemistry with Varun and not him. He also ended up calling "Dost ke naam pe Kalank" to Alia.
When Ranbir and Alia became 'friends'...
Recently, the makers dropped a new trailer for 'The Great Indian Kapil Show: Season 2' graced by Alia Bhatt, Karan Johar and Vedang Raina. The teaser shows Kapil asking KJo if he considers Alia as a friend, daughter or 'phuphi (aunt)' to which the filmmaker says that the actress is his 'first daughter' and kisses her forehead.
Further, the clip shows Alia talking about KJo's sixth sense and recalling the time when she and Ranbir became 'friends.'
Alia recalled, “Ranbir aur main dost bane..” But before she could continue, Karan gave a hilarious reaction as he sarcastically said ‘dost bane’.
