Talking about his low-key approach to stardom, former journalist and film critic Rajeev Masand, said that RK's decision to forgo an entourage isn't for a show, it's simply a reflection of his personality and how he chooses to navigate fame on his own terms. He also revealed that Ranbir Kapoor doesn't have a PR team or marketing team.

During a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, Karan Johar shared that Ranbir Kapoor dominates without a PR playbook.
KJo said, “I think everyone kind of understands it well. But can I say who I think is the best star who has managed to stay away from social media, from the arc light and still emerged as a massive superstar, Ranbir Kapoor. He doesn’t have a PR team, he therefore has the best PR team."
