Yash To Begin Ramayana Soon!

According to an exclusive report by Filmfare, Yash is all set to join the sets of Ramayana in March. The report quoted a close source to the development confirming Yash beginning filming of his role as Demon King Ravana in the much-anticipated flick Ramayana.

However, there is no official confirmation backing the claims. Fans need to wait for the same.

Notably, Yash was the first to confirm his inclusion in the cinematic adaptation of the Hindu epic, followed by Ranbir and Sunny.

Confirming his role in Ramayana, Yash stated that he was drawn to play the role because of its complexity and depth. Furthermore, he also described it as the 'most exciting character' he has been offered in his career.

“It’s a very fascinating character… there’s vast scope to present it in a very different way," said Yash.

The anticipation for Nitesh Tiwari's Ramayana is skyrocketing with each passing day. The makers have already made it official that Ramayana: Part 1 will release on Diwali 2026 and Ramayana: Part 2 will arrive in theatres on Diwali 2027. Amid this, reports have surfaced that the makers have plans for a standalone movie on Lord Hanuman, focusing on Sundar Kand. While Ranbir will play the lead in Ramayana Part 1 and 2, Sunny will be the lead in the standalone movie.
