The hype around Nitesh Tiwari and Namit Malhotra's upcoming magnum opus, Ramayana and the ensemble cast has escalated after the makers dropped the teaser. Fans are undeniably excited to see Ranbir Kapoor, Sunny Deol, Yash, Ravi Dubey and Sai Pallavi as Lord Rama, Lord Hanuman, Demon King Ravana, Lakshman and Devi Sita, respectively. Meanwhile, the debate around the screentime of Yash and Sunny has picked up steam recently. According to the latest reports, Yash will have a significant screen presence in Ramayana: Part I. However, Sunny Deol as Lord Hanuman will have a brief screen presence in the first instalment of the cinematic adaptation of the Indian Epic.

Screentime of Sunny Deol As Lord Hanuman
According to the latest report by India Today, Sunny Deol will have less than half an hour of screentime in Part I. The report suggests that Sunny, as Lord Hanuman, will appear for around 15 minutes.
A source revealed to the news portal that the first instalment will end with the arrival of the Gadar 2 actor as Lord Hanuman, who will promise Lord Rama and Lakshman to help them in rescuing Devi Sita from the solitary confinement of Ravana in Lanka.
However, in Ramayana: Part II, Sunny will have a full-length role as Lord Hanuman helps Lord Rama to trace Devi Sita in Lanka. His role will be bigger in the second instalment as he plays a key role in the fierce battle between Lord Rama and Ravana.
It is noteworthy to mention that earlier reports have been abuzz that Tiwari will make a standalone film focused on Lord Hanuman, which will be based on Sundarakand.
All About Yash's Screentime
For the last couple of days, reports have been abuzz about Yash having limited screentime in Ramayana: Part I. The reports suggested that as Demon King Ravana, KFI's Rocking Star will appear for around 15 minutes in the first instalment.

However, the latest report by Pinkvilla claims that he will have a full-length role and his screentime will be around one hour.
