Many are sceptical about Ranbir Kapoor essaying Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi portraying Devi Sita. However, the zeal for Ramayana can't be ignored.

The biggest takeaway is that Ramayana is poised to become the most expensive Indian cinema. Earlier reports suggest that the staggering production budget of both parts of the magnum opus is Rs 1600 crore. While the first instalment's cost is estimated to be Rs 900 crore, Rs 700 crore has been set aside for the second instalment. Ranbir Kapoor, Sai Pallavi and Yash's Fees For Ramayana

While various reports are doing the rounds about the fees charged by the lead actors in Tiwari's Ramayana, according to the latest report, Ranbir Kapoor is charging Rs 70-75 crore per film. If the report is anything to go by, RK will pocket Rs 150 crore with the two instalments of Ramayana.

Meanwhile, a report by Siasat suggests that Sai Pallavi is charging Rs 6 crore per film, and she will earn Rs 12 crore from both parts of the magnum opus.

Earlier reports suggested that Kannada Film Industry's Rocking Star Yash, who is portraying the role of powerful Demon King Ravana, became the biggest-ever villain with Ramayana by charging a whopping amount of Rs 150 crore as his fee. However, the latest report by ABP Live suggests that Yash is the highest-paid actor in Ramayana, and he is charging Rs 200 crore for both parts of the cinematic adaptation of the Indian epic.

However, no official confirmation regarding the fees charged by the actors has been obtained.
