India's first superstar Rajesh Khanna is one of the most cherished figures in the Indian film industry. Kaka became the heartthrob of millions with his charm and captivating smile. While girls/women swooned over him, men imitated his mannerisms and on-screen persona in real life. He earned immense fame and wealth in his professional life and lived life 'King Size' on his own terms. Kaka amassed vast wealth and owned several properties worth billions. However, personal life this brightest star of Indian cinema was not as successful. While his married life was in turmoil, he changed his will before death and gave nothing to his wife Dimple Kapadia.
As per media reports, Rajesh Khanna was in a live-in relationship with actress Anju Mahendru for seven years. However, they broke up and Kaka married Dimple Kapadia in 1973, who was 15 years old at the time. Dimple quit acting after her marriage. But, the marriage didn't last for a long time. Although Dimple considered herself the luckiest woman in the world for marrying Kaka, the huge age gap and personal habits contributed to their relationship challenges. They even became parents to two daughters, Twinkle and Rinke, however, their family fell apart. The couple stayed together for almost nine years before separating.

Rajesh Khanna's stardom faded with the emergence of Amitabh Bachchan. Broken relationships, unique lifestyle and failures in career led him to depression. In 2011, his health condition deteriorated. Later, he was diagnosed with cancer.
During his last phase of life, he was prepared for the consequences and faced his death with grace.
Rajesh Khanna's close friend Bhupesh Rasin once revealed that Kaka had come to terms a year before his death as he knew that he was running out of time. Gradually, the Anand star grew quiet and wished only for his daughters (Twinkle and Rinke) to be by his side. Though Twinkle couldn't visit him often due to her pregnancy, Rinke was present with her father. Even Dimple took care of him during his last days.
As Rajesh Khanna was aware of his imminent departure, he changed his will before death.

According to Yasser Usman's book Kuch To Log Kahenge, Kaka said he wanted nothing for himself. He further instructed that everything he earned be given to his children. Well, he gave all his fortune to his daughters and left nothing for his wife Dimple Kapadia.
