Radhika Apte had a horrible experience at the Mumbai airport after she along with her co-passengers were locked for several hours at the aerobridge when they were all set to board an Indigo flight. Certainly, the passengers had no idea when they would be able to board the plane, but more surprising was the fact that even the staff had no idea how long the situation would last.

According to Radhika her co-passengers included even elderly people as well as babies who were deprived of both the washroom and the food for a long time. The Andhadhun actress shared her harrowing experience on her official Instagram handle.

Describing her entire experience in an elaborate post, Radhika penned, “I had to post this! Today morning I had a flight at 8:30. It’s 10:50 now and the flight has still not boarded. BUT the flight said we were boarding and put all the passengers in the aerobridge and LOCKED IT! The passengers with small babies, elderly people have been locked in for over an hour. The security won’t open the doors. The staff has ABSOLUTELY NO CLUE! Apparently, their crew hasn’t boarded (sic).”

She added that there was a change of shift of the crew and that is why everyone was waiting for the new crew to take over but the staff had no idea when they would come and no one was even aware of how long the passengers would be locked in the aerobridge in this way. Radhika Apte said she managed to escape briefly as she went to talk with a stupid staff woman who kept on repeating that there was no issue and no delay.

She wrote that they had told the passengers that the situation would remain unchanged at least until noon with no loo and no water. A couple of months ago famous comedian Kapil Sharma also lambasted Indigo airlines for their bad service and keeping the elderlies and children waiting while its staff was delayed.
