Filmmaker Aanand L. Rai’s 2013 cult classic Raanjhanaa, starring Dhanush, Sonam Kapoor (Ahuja) and Swara Bhasker, left a lasting impact with its emotional ending. The audience was heartbroken when Dhanush’s Kundan took his final breath in a hospital bed. However, Raanjhanaa’s AI-altered climax, which has remained a topic of discussion for quite some time now, has rewritten that moment entirely. In the AI-altered version, Kundan is revived, and fans are left divided.

Heart-wrenching to Heart-winning or...?

The heart-wrenching climax of Aanand L Rai's cult hit Raanjhanaa left audiences shattered when Dhanush’s beloved character, Kundan, tragically breathed his last in a hospital bed.

However, in the AI-altered re-release, instead of dying, Kundan miraculously opens his eyes and walks away, undoing the original tragic ending.

The short clip of the AI-altered climax has gone viral on social media, sparking debates.

While some feel the change offers closure and healing, others opined that the AI-altered climax 'killed the soul' and emotional depth of the movie.
