2001's flick Rehnaa Hai Tere Dil Mein, starring R Madhavan, Dia Mirza and Saif Ali Khan remains afresh in the minds of moviegoers. Even after two decades, fans are in awe of the romantic drama and its music. Though it failed to achieve commercial success, with time it achieved a cult classic status. Now, the trio will again spread the magic on the big screen. But wait, it's not about RHTDM 2.

With this, fans of the movie and actors and the new age viewers will get to enjoy the timeless charm and emotional depth of the movie.

Actor and producer Jackky Bhagnani, on behalf of Pooja Entertainment, expressed his excitement and described the movie as a quintessential romantic film. Talking about the significance of the movie, Jackky stated that it was his first movie as an assistant director. He also talked about the remarkable opportunity he had to work closely with the Madhavan, Dia and Saif.

Further, Jackky also highlighted RHTDM's continued popularity among younger audiences and praised its timeless melody. Jackky seems to be quite delighted in reintroducing the film to the young generation.

RHTDM 2 Buzz...

Producer Vashu Bhagnani was interested in making a sequel to RHTDM. In intervals, reports surfaced that the OGs would reprise their characters in the sequel. Meanwhile, other reports claimed that Vashu is interested in doing the sequel with his son Jackky.

Back then, Maddy reacting to the reports said that he had no clue about the sequel. However, he has his fingers crossed and hopes that someone has the right script that will be age-appropriate for the actors.

On the other hand, director Menon busted the rumours of making the sequel with Jackky. 

Well, though it's disheartening, remaking a cult won't give justice to it. But, a sequel with the OGs, with an age-appropriate script, could serve the purpose.
