Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming movie 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' is one of the much-awaited movies. With only 49 days left for its release, the excitement is amplifying among all. On Thursday, the makers announced the countdown and shared a poster from the movie featuring Pushparaj sitting on a chair. Well, movie trade analysts predict that the sequel will be a blockbuster and script new records with its box office collections. However, before its release, Pushpa 2 has already scripted history earning Rs 900 crore.
Moviegoers have pinned high hopes on Pushpa 2 as its prequel, Pushpa: The Rise made a huge impact on the audience globally. With the release date (December 6) approaching closer, rumours started doing rounds about a possible postponement. However, the makers recently cleared the air and announced that the first half of the sequel is locked. Even the makers promised an action-packed visual spectacle.
As per Music director Devi Sri Prasad, the first half is mindblowing and every scene has energy. Indeed, Allu Arjun's acting and Sukumar's storytelling and presentation would be of the next level and several times more than the first part of the franchise.
Well, earlier rumours were rife that Pushpa 2 pre-release business has done Rs.1000 crores. However, a recent report claims that the pre-release collection of the sequel is said to be Rs 900 crore.
As per the report by News 18, the digital rights and satellite rights of Pushpa 2: The Rule have been sold at a whopping all-time highest deal of Rs 900 crore. While an official confirmation is awaited from the OTT platform, reports also claim that the theatrical rights have been sold at Rs 650 crore.
Reportedly, the sequel is made at Rs 500 crore budget.
Animal actor comes on board
While there have been several speculations around the cast, a recent report claims that a popular Bollywood actor has come on board. The latest addition to the stellar cast is an actor who recently drew everyone's attention with his character portrayal in Ranbir Kapoor's Animal.
Saurabh Sachdeva, actor and acting coach, is known for his powerful roles in Sacred Games and Animal, to name a few. As per the report, Sachdeva has officially joined the ensemble cast. The news surfaced after actor Brahmaji shared a BTS picture on social media featuring himself along with Sachdeva in the back seat and Fahadh Faasil and Sukumar in the front seat.
