The excitement among fans is skyrocketing for Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna's upcoming flick Pushpa 2: The Rule. While the theatrical release is only a few days away, fans are eagerly waiting for Pushpa 2: The Rule trailer, which will drop on November 17. While various reports are circulating about the mounting pressure on the team including the last-minute filming of Allu Arjun and Sreeleela's item number, a recent report claims that the sequel will feature a 'shadow villain' leaving the doors open for future instalments of the franchise.
While the team has already kickstarted its pan-India promotions, a latest report suggests that the crew is busy with patchwork and a crucial scene, to set the stage for Pushpa 3.
Reports about the possibility of Pushpa 3 have been abuzz for a long time. However, Sukumar's decision to introduce Fahadh Faasil as the lead antagonist in the sequel with a backstory has fueled anticipation among all and set the bar high for a potential Pushpa 3. Meanwhile, speculations have been rife around the lead antagonist for Pushpa 3.
As per the report by Cinejosh, Sukumar was interested in casting a Bollywood actor as the lead antagonist in Pushpa 3. However, he reportedly stepped back from the decision. As per the report, Sukumar has cited uncertain climatic conditions and his and Arjun's demanding schedule which could possibly delay the third instalment.
For this reason, Sukumar decided not to introduce the villain of Pushpa 3. Instead, he opted to go KGF way of introducing the villain.
Notably, Adheera, the primary antagonist in KGF: Chapter 2 was introduced as a shadow villain in KGF: Chapter 1. The first part didn't reveal the face of Adheera and Sanjay Dutt was introduced as the menacing villain in the second part.
If the reports are anything to go by, Pushpa 2 will most likely introduce a shadow villain and the face will be revealed in Pushpa 3 after Sukumar locks an actor.
Well, fans need to wait for the release of Pushpa 2: The Rule to know the truth behind the buzz.
