The makers of 'Pushpa 2: The Rule' have unveiled a major update regarding the sequel today. Taking to social media, the director Sukumar penned that Pushpa: The Rule will be released next year on August 15. Pushpa: The Rise was released on December 21 and went on to become a huge pan-India blockbuster. Already the hype is very high for this Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna-led sequel.
The poster is quite unique in its way as it does not show the faces of the lead star cast but only a hand with colourful rings in most of its fingers. A couple of months ago, the makers released a new look of Bunny as Pushpa in which he could be seen in an entirely different avatar which shocked and also pleased his fans.
It is quite evident from the poster that says “The Rule on August 15” that it is the hand of Pushpa aka Allu Arjun. While the new poster has impressed the franchise fans, they are not happy with the delayed release.
It has been almost 2 years since Pushpa: The Rise reached the theaters. Fans were expecting its release somewhere around December this year. But now they will have to wait for almost a year to watch the sequel on the big screen.
Allu Arjun has a massive fan following in the South and with Pushpa 1 he has also captured the hearts of millions of pan-India fans. Moreover, after winning a National Award for his role as Pushpa, expectations are quite high for the sequel. Fans are also eager to see whether Pushpa continues with his earlier dialogue “Flower nahi Fire hai” in the sequel or whether there will be a new dialogue for the character to demonstrate his swag.
