The most good-looking superstar and stylish icon Mahesh Babu is coming back in a massy avatar in SSMB28 to create a storm at the box office. Directed by Trivikram Srinivas, the highly-anticipated film will be released on January 13, 2024 on the occasion of Sankranthi 2024.
Taking to his social media handle, the superstar released his first look and wrote, “13.01.2024!! #SaveTheDate.” Mahesh Babu will be seen in an all-new mass avatar and will pair opposite gorgeous Pooja Hegde.
Pooja Hegde also shared the poster of the film and wrote, “It’s gonna be incredible. 13th January. See you in the theatres.”
Rebel star Prabhas had earlier announced the date and wrote, “12-1-24 it is! #ProjectK.”
Sharing the news about the clash, film critic Taran Adarsh wrote, “Prabhas vs Mahesh Babu: The biggg clash… Sankranthi 2024 will witness the clash of the mighty... Prabhas (Project K) versus Mahesh Babu (SSMB28)… Prabhas’ film will release on Jan 12 while Mahesh Babu’s film will arrive a day late on Jan 13.”
Fans of both superstars are a worried lot now as they want both movies to do well at the box office. However, fans are hopeful that both movies do well irrespective of fan wars and verdicts.
On the work front, Mahesh Babu will be next seen in RRR director SS Rajamouli’s new project tentatively titled SSMB29. On the other hand, Prabhas has three to four movies like Adipurush, Salaar, Project K, Spirit and PrabhasMaruthi in the next 20 months.
