This week, Instagram all over the world has been awash with nostalgic snapshots of youthful idealism as ‘Me at 21’ trend goes viral. There have been at least 3.6 million shares, as people post photos of themselves based on the prompt ‘Let’s see you at 21’.
Even Bollywood celebrities and Hollywood personalities have joined the trend. Global star Priyanka Chopra and Kareena Kapoor Khan are the latest celebrities to join the ‘Me at 21’ trend on Instagram. The two stars dug out some throwback gold pictures from their archives and took their fans down the memory to the good old 90s.
Taking to her Instagram stories, Priyanka Chopra shared a series of pictures when she was 21 years old. Sharing the pictures she wrote, “Let’s see you at 21”. The pictures are from her modeling days in which she can be seen posing in several sexy sultry outfits.
In one of the pictures, she is seen wearing an animal-printed outfit while in another candid picture, she is smiling at the camera. In the third picture, she can be seen cutting a cake with her best friend Tamanna Dutt where she wrote, “We were babies.”
On the other hand, Kareena Kapoor pictures from her scenes in Asoka with superstar Shah Rukh Khan. The gorgeous beauty was only 21 when she was part of the high-budget film. The first picture features Kareena with Shah Rukh Khan from the song ‘Raat Ka Nasha Abhi’. The second picture is a close shot of her beautiful face.
On the personal front, Priyanka Chopra has just moved back to Mumbai along with her daughter Malti and husband Nick Jonas. Kareena Kapoor, on the other hand, is gearing up for the release of her upcoming movie ‘The Crew’ also starring the versatile Tabu and Kriti Sanon.
