After Gadar 3 turned out to be a massive blockbuster, action star Sunny Deol has joined hands with Aamir Khan for another patriotic movie ‘Lahore 1947’. Aamir Khan will produce the film while director Rajkumar Santoshi known for movies like ‘Ghatak’, ‘Ghayal’ and ‘Damini’ will direct it.
What’s more interesting is that bubbly actress Preity Zinta is likely to make her comeback with the film. Preity is reportedly in talks with Aamir Khan for the movie and will be seen as the leading lady. She will romance Sunny Deol in the film.
Preity who has worked with Sunny Deol in movies like The Hero: Love Story of a Spy and Farz will make her much-awaited comeback through Lahore 1947. However, there has been no official confirmation in this regard.
Earlier, Aamir Khan announced his collaboration with Sunny and wrote, “I and my entire team at AKP, are most excited and happy to announce our next, starring Sunny Deol, directed by Raj Kumar Santoshi, titled Lahore, 1947. We look forward to collaborating with the immensely talented Sunny, and one of my favourite directors Raj Santoshi.”
Aamir Khan continued, “The journey we have embarked on promises to be most enriching. We seek your blessings.”
The announcement has received a lot of positive response from fans on social media who applauded the new project and expressed their excitement to watch the new film.
