Actress Pratibha Ranta has become the talk of the town since her latest projects 'Laapataa Ladies' and 'Heeramandi' received immense love from the audience. She won the hearts of the audience with her stellar performance in both projects and emerged as the new National Crush. Recently, during an interview, when she was asked about being called the National Crush, the 'Laapataa Ladies' actress reacted by saying that she feels good to be appreciated for her work.
During the recent interview with Filmy Gyan, Ranta was asked how she feels about getting viral, she said, "Kaam ke liye taareef ho rhi hai, waise viral hone mein zyaada mazaa hai (it feels good to be viral when I am being appreciated for my work.)"
Further, she shared that she feels grateful and it's a beautiful feeling to receive this love.
Pratibha Ranta said that she loves dreaming and wants to work on them. She further added that she wishes to explore different types of characters.
Talking about the Laapataa Ladies sequel, Ranta said, as of now, there are no plans for a sequel. However, if the makers come up with part two, all the lead characters will have a different story and her character will become an entrepreneur.

Notably, Pratibha Ranta was seen as Jaya in Kiran Rao's Laapataa Ladies. Her character is portrayed as a strong woman with big dreams. Alongside Nitanshi Goel, Sparsh Shrivastava and Ravi Kishan, Ranta was flooded with praise for her stellar performance in the movie.
Following that, Ranta also starred in Sanjay Leela Bhansali's OTT debut series, 'Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar'. Despite her limited screen presence as Shama, fans loved her character portrayal.
On Saturday, the number of Instagram followers of Pratibha Ranta crossed 1 million. Pratibha's sister Abha Ranta congratulated the actress on achieving the first milestone. The 23-year-old actress also thanked her.
