Tollywood Rebel Star Prabhas is currently filming Hanu Raghavapudi’s period drama Fauji. The film, mounted on a massive budget and reportedly set against the backdrop of the 1940s, has been generating strong buzz since its launch in August 2024.

Recently, a leaked image of Prabhas from the shooting location surfaced online, instantly going viral. The candid still reportedly shows the star in a casual look, which has sparked widespread fan discussions across social media platforms.

Makers Respond With Stern Warning

The makers, Mythri Movie Makers, have condemned the leak, stating that unauthorised sharing of content from the sets is damaging to the team’s morale.

Taking to their official X handle, they wrote, “We’ve noticed that many are circulating an image from the sets of #PrabhasHanu. We are committed to giving you the best cinematic experience, and such leaks bring down the morale of the team. Any account sharing these pictures will be reported, taken down, and treated as a cyber-crime.”

About Fauji

Fauji is being described as a historical fiction/alternate history narrative, set during the pre-Independence era of the 1940s. The story reportedly follows a soldier’s journey from obscurity to confronting deeply rooted injustices.

The film also boasts an impressive ensemble cast, including Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Jayapradha, and social media sensation Imanvi Ismail in the female lead role.

Backed by a staggering Rs 400-600 crore budget, Fauji is touted as one of the most ambitious Telugu films to date.

Director Hanu Raghavapudi is known for blending romance and period storytelling, and technical excellence is ensured by a top-tier crew. Given its grand scale and World War II-inspired setting, the film is being positioned as a pan-Indian spectacle.

Prabhas' Upcoming Lineup

Prabhas has an exciting slate of projects. He will be next seen in The Raja Saab- a horror-comedy directed by Maruthi, set for release on December 5, 2025. Apart from The Raja Saab and Fauji, the Baahubali star has Spirit, directed by Sandeep Reddy Vanga, with Triptii Dimri as the lead lady.
