Just a day before the worldwide release of Kalki 2898 AD Prabhas and Nag Ashwin engaged in a live Instagram session and shared some most happening things for their fans. The Baahubali actor revealed for the first time that Vijay Deverakonda and Dulquer Salman are part of their movie. Until now fans were guessing and speculating that Vijay has been roped in to play the role of Lord Krishna whereas Dulquer will play Bhairava’s father.
But today Prabhas officially confirmed just hours before the release of Kalki 2898 AD that these two South Indian stars are also a part of this mega movie escalating the excitement further. Acknowledging the contribution of these two stars Prabhas said, “Thanks to Dulquer, thanks to Vijay, you made the film bigger.” Nag Ashwin too joined the Rebel star in acknowledging the contribution of these stars and said, “So many people yaar.”
Prabhas suggests Nag Ashwin should start writing Kalki 2898 AD part 2
But the major surprise was when Prabhas said to Nag Aswhin that you now start writing script for Kalki 2898 AD part 2. Prabhas said, “You have part 2. Take 10 days and start writing.” Speculations were already rife that the movie will have a sequel with Kamal Haasan having a bigger role in the second part. But it was never officially confirmed by anyone associated with Kalki 2898 AD.
Now that Prabhas himself has said it, fans are more eager to watch the first part and start speculating what can be the storyline in the second part. Nag Ashwin also revealed that Prabhas aka Bhairava will make an entry after 20 minutes. He said, "Bhairava coming at 20th minute, I assure it will be the best entry, you will scream for sure."
Commercially, the movie is creating a riot and is expected to get a very big opening of more than 100 crores worldwide. If Prabhas manages to get a 150 crore worldwide opening for Kalki 2898 AD he will once again prove his dominance as a superstar both in India and abroad. With such a huge star cast and tremendous response to both the trailer and theme of the movie, it seems that Kalki 2898 AD will be the first biggest hit of 2024.
