Poonam Pandey’s shocking death has rocked the Indian entertainment industry. Reportedly, she died of cervical cancer at the very young age of 32 at her Kanpur residence, which seems quite unbelievable. She did have a controversial past, a tumultuous marriage, and highs and lows in her career, but Poonam Pandey did not look as if she was suffering from some serious disease.
What has surprised many is that she was spotted publicly just a few days ago and did not look as if she was going through any health crisis or taking treatments like radiotherapy for advanced-stage cancer. Normally, anyone who is suffering from advanced cancer stage has to undergo radio and chemotherapy that leaves them exhausted and drained.
But when on Monday, Poonam Pandey was spotted at an awards function, she looked all decked up glamorously without any trace or hint of being unhealthy. Reportedly, she also did a photoshoot with celebrity photographer Amit just two days ago. In his social media post, Amit said that they had a great shoot and she seemed normal, happy, and having fun. Poonam had even said that they would shoot again in the coming week.
Netizens suspect something fishy-drug overdose or PR stunt?
As these titbits are coming out, netizens are suspecting there is something fishy with many saying that someone is hiding something. More people are now inclined to believe that there is more to the death of Poonam Pandey than what has come out in the open.
A user has said that whoever has come up with the excuse of cervical cancer for her death needs to revisit whatever he/they are trying to hide. Another user has said that he has people in his family taking cancer treatments and dying because of this disease and you do not drop dead from cervical cancer just within a day.
Some users even suggested that the Lock Up star might be pulling up a prank and will surface soon supporting a campaign for cervical cancer on World Cancer Day. It can be well a PR stunt to support Cancer Awareness Campaign as World Cancer Day is on February 4. A few portals have also discussed the possibility of drug overdose.
