Indian Idol12 winner Pawandeep Rajan has added another feather to his cap after bagging a song with composer Salim Merchant which will be released on the auspicious occasion of Maha Shivratri.
Salim Merchant took to his Instagram handle to make the announcement along with a video in which he talks about Pawandeep and their collaboration. He also revealed that they are on their way to Chail in Himachal Pradesh to shoot the song's video.
"We are very excited to announce our upcoming song with the super talented @pawandeeprajan! Coming out this Shivratri 🙏❤️. Off to Chail to shoot the video! Stay tuned," Salim captioned the post.
In the video, Salim can be seen telling how he had heard Pawandeep last year and wanted to record a song with him.
Pawandeep is also seen expressing his gratitude to Salim for giving him this opportunity as singers wait for this chance and how it is a dream come true for him to record a song in Salim's studio which he had only seen in videos.
Salim and Pawan can be seen in a picturesque location with hills in their background. Salim is seen wearing a Black bomber jacket with a muffler while Pawandeep is seen donning a yellow Hindu mantra printed shirt.

On the work front, Pawandeep will next be seen as a Captain on Sony TV's Superstar Singer 2 in which he will be mentoring contestants.
