All the characters in the show have become household names and from rural to urban, viewers are showering love on the web series. Well, if you are an admirer of the Panchayat series, here's good news for you. After the tremendous success of Panchayat: Season 3, the makers are all set for Season 4 and 5. Helmer Deepak Mishra recently confirmed that work on Season 4 is underway and they have 'expansive plans' for Season 5.
A report by News 18 states that the makers are already working on Season 4 with Season 5 in mind.
The report quoted Mishra as saying that they have already started writing the script for Season 4. Further, Mishra revealed, "There’s usually no transition between seasons for us. We have written three or four episodes of the show."
Earlier, during the promotions of Season 3, Mishra spilled the beans that they are considering producing Seasons 4 and 5. Mishra said that they have a clear vision for Season 4 and have an expansive plan for Season 5.
During a conversation with PTI, Mishra stated that usually there are no breaks for them between the seasons and they have already started writing the script for Season 4. Having a clear vision for Season 4, they are brainstorming for Season 5.
If the reports are anything to go by, Season 4 will go on floors by October this year.
Notably, Panchayat Season 1 premiered on Prime Video in April 2020. It was followed by Season 2 in May 2022, and Season 3 dropped earlier this year. Considering the pattern of release, it can be assumed that Season 4 will be released sometime in 2026.
Well, the makers could possibly share more updates on Panchayat Season 4 once they are done with the scripting. Till then, fans need to wait with their fingers crossed.
