Amazon Prime today unveiled the first look of Panchayat Season 3 with two photos. As expected, Jitendra Kumar is once again reprising the all-so-popular character of Sachiv Abhishek Tripathi. The first photo shows Jitendra as a Panchayat Secretary riding a motorcycle with a bag on his back. It has left the fans guessing whether Sachiv is finally leaving the Phulera village or just going out for some other official work.
The second photo shows the other characters from Panchayat Season 3 including Banrakas (Durgesh Kumar), Vinod (Ashok Pathak), and Madhav (Bulloo Kumar) sitting on the bench. The wall behind them has an interesting caption: "Thokar lagti hai to dard hota hai, tabhi manushya seek pata hai.”
Amazon Prime shared these photos on its official Instagram account with the caption, “We know the wait is unbearable, so we got you a lil something from the sets! #PanchayatOnPrime Season 3.” Much to the fans' disappointment though, the OTT platform did not announce any streaming date or even give a hint related to it.
But this got the netizens guessing about when Panchayat Season 3 will start streaming and many said that the season will come before or by March 2023. Neena Gupta triggered a lot of excitement about the web series in November this year when she shared a clip from the wrap-up party of the third season.
Along with Neenaji, the clip also shows her onscreen husband and Mungerilal-fame actor Raghuvir Yadav. Both the seasons of Panchayat have been quite interesting and full of entertainment. The second season recently won the Best Web Series (OTT) Award at the 54th International Film Festival of India (IFFI). Incidentally, this particular category has been introduced this year and hence Panchayat 2 was the first to win it.
The first season of Panchayat was released in 2020 during the Corona pandemic and fans loved the concept and the simplicity with which the situation and the characters have been presented.
