Tamil actress Helen Nelson aka Oviya has been in the headlines for a couple of days after reports of her 'private video' leaking online surfaced. Oviya, whose popularity soared after participating in Bigg Boss (Tamil), remained silent initially. However, she lodged a complaint with the Chennai Police Commissioner regarding the 'morphed video' and her manager refrained from disclosing details about the accused. But now, the actress has reportedly revealed the name of the person behind making the video viral.

As per earlier reports, Oviya sought legal assistance and filed a complaint against the person responsible for circulating the video online. Her manager had stated that the video clip was shared with the intent to damage her reputation. She filed a complaint at the Thrissur Police Station providing information about the alleged perpetrator. Further, her manager clarified that the person in the 'private' video was not Oviya. The manager claimed that the video was 'fabricated' and the accused wanted to defame the actress.

Reportedly, Oviya in her complaint indicated that her former friend Thariq leaked the 'morphed' video with the intent to take revenge. Oviya mentioned that she had distanced herself from Thariq due to his inappropriate behaviour.

However, Oviya is yet to make a public statement addressing the matter.
