1. Baazigar
A film which cemented SRK’s presence on the silver screen. There was no looking back after the success of Baazigar.
“Kabhi kabhi kuch jeetney ke liye kuch haarna bhi padta hai… aur haar kar jeetne waale ko baazigar kehte hain” - which simply translates as we need to lose a battle sometimes in order to win a war and those who win the wars, are referred to as a magician / baazigar - for their ability to turn around their fortunes.
2. Happy New Year
This dialogue from Happy New Year is quite a favourite amongst youngsters, “Kismat badi kutti cheez hai, saali kabhi bhi palat jaati hai.” Essentially it means, you can never be certain of destiny, it can take a turn anytime!

3. My name is Khan
When SRK spoke “My name is Khan and I am not a terrorist,” in the wake of a community feeling marginalised, it sharply brought home the fact that everyone cannot be misjudged.

“Don ko pakadna mushkil he nahi namumkin hai” is a cult dialogue, originally spoken by megastar Amitabh Bachchan in his film Don released in 1978.

4. Chak De! India
“Mujhe states ke naam na sunai dete hai na dikhai deta hai, sirf ek mulk ka naam sunai deta hai INDIA!” Every time we hear this dialogue from SRK, we feel so proud of being an Indian
5. Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge
SRK’s most popular movie Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge gave us the iconic dialogue “Raj agar woh tujhse pyaar karti hai to woh ek baar palat ke dekhegi! Palat… Palat… Palat” - this line is now most commonly used by anyone who believes that their beloved will come around even if she says ‘No’, initially.
6. Om Shanti Om
“Picture abhi baki hai mere dost,” This epic one from Om Shanti Om is still remembered by everyone and seems to fit in any random conversation - where the person wants to communicate that ‘the story ain’t over yet, my friend!
7. Chennai Express
“Don't underestimate the power of a common man,” mouthed by SRK as a bumbling layman, when he inadvertently takes on the might of a local Don; his love’s prospective suitor and her entire extended family in her village in this Rohit Shetty blockbuster. It’s now repeated by any and everyone who needs to remind themselves and others around them that a common man too has might and power of his own!

8. Raees
Everyone in the theatres went crazy when SRK said, “Koi dhanda chota nahi hota aur dhande se bada koi dharam nahi hota”, meaning thereby that no job is small enough and there’s nothing bigger than one’s work.
