The highly-anticipated collaboration between Jr NTR and director Prashanth Neel for the tentatively titled ‘NTR 31’ has faced a delay. Initially slated to start in August, a recent report by Gulte suggests that the first schedule has been pushed back to late September due to Jr NTR's commitments to ‘Devara Part 1’.
Notably, Jr NTR was set to begin shooting for Prashanth Neel's tentatively titled ‘NTR 31’ starting in August 2024, as announced by Mythri Movie Makers on his birthday on May 20 earlier this year. The surprise announcement of the film's shooting schedule in May caught fans off guard, reminiscent of a similar announcement last year stating that filming would begin in March. Currently, ‘KGF’ director Neel is finalizing the script, with a release reportedly slated for 2025.
While the film's title remains unannounced, speculation suggests it might be named ‘Dragon’.
The Hindustan Times previously reported that actors Prabhas and Prithviraj Sukumaran would start shooting for ‘Salaar Part 2: Shouryanga Parvam’ in June. This has led to confusion among fans about Neel's ability to manage both projects simultaneously. One fan expressed concern on X/Twitter, questioning the schedule for ‘Salaar 2’ if NTR and Neel begin filming in August. However, it seems that Neel has figured things out.
Meanwhile, on the work front, Jr NTR, apart from the untitled movie with Prashanth Neel, has many projects in the pipeline which include ‘War 2’ and ‘Devara 1 and 2’. ‘Devara’ is scheduled to be released on October 10, 2024.
