NTR-Neel update: Jr NTR and Prashanth Neel wrap up Karnataka schedule
Tollywood superstar Jr NTR has joined forces with eminent filmmaker Prashanth Neel for the highly-anticipated pan-India action drama- NTR-Neel, tentatively titled Dragon. Recently, the makers announced the new release date and a special glimpse of the film and first look of the actor is set to drop on his birthday. Well, amid the growing excitement among fans, according to the latest update, Tarak and Neel have wrapped up their schedule in Karnataka.

Notably, Prashanth Neel kicked off the shooting of Dragon in March without Jr NTR at Ramoji Film City in Hyderabad. After the brief schedule, Neel moved to Karnataka to film the first schedule. Tarak joined Neel in the third week of April after returning from Japan. Reportedly, Neel filmed some major action sequences and some major talkie scenes with Jr NTR.
According to the latest update, Neel wrapped up the Karnataka schedule on May 8.

According to the earlier reports, Dragon will also feature Rukmini Vasanth as female lead, opposite Jr NTR. The film is being produced jointly under the Mythri Movie Makers and NTR Arts banners. Eminent music composer Ravi Basrur, known for his works in the KGF and Salaar series, is composing the music for Dragon.
The film is scheduled for worldwide theatrical release on June 25, 2026. Amid this, the makers are set to drop the first glimpse of the movie along with the first look of Jr NTR on the actor's birthday on May 20, 2025.

On the other hand, the first look of Jr NTR from War 2 will also reportedly drop on the actor's birthday. According to the reports, YRF will release the first look of Jr NTR and Hrithik Roshan from War 2.
