However, SSMB29 may not mark her comeback. A Hindi movie will reportedly mark her comeback, and it is none other than eminent filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming Love & War.
Not SSMB29, It's Love & War?
Sanjay Leela Bhansali's upcoming flick Love & War, starring Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, and Vicky Kaushal, in the lead, is one of the highly anticipated movies. According to a report by Hindustan Times, Priyanka Chopra may feature in a special dance number in the movie, which is scheduled for release in 2026.
The buzz began after PeeCee shared a throwback video of her iconic dance number 'Ram Chahe Leela' from SLB's 2013 film 'Goliyon Ki Raasleela: Ram-Leela', starring Ranveer Singh and Deepika Padukone in the lead. In her post, the Mujhse Shaadi Karogi star praised the filmmaker’s vision and thanked him for “inspiring” her.
The HT report suggests that this could be a subtle hint at her return to the silver screen, possibly through a fiery special appearance. While the details have yet to be confirmed, if it materialises, it would mark Priyanka’s grand comeback into Indian cinema, as SSMB29's release date is still unconfirmed.
