New pairing alert! Sai Pallavi to star opposite Vijay Deverakonda in action drama

Actor Vijay Deverakonda celebrated his 35th birthday last week, delighting fans with exciting news about his upcoming films. Among these, the talk of the town is an action film directed by Ravi Kiran Kola and produced by Dil Raju, tentatively titled VD13. 

According to a News18 report, Sai Pallavi will star opposite Vijay Deverakonda in this rural action drama, marking their first on-screen collaboration.

However, there has been no official confirmation from the actress' team or the makers of the film regarding the same.

Ravi Kiran Kola expressed his enthusiasm by posting a photo with the producer and writing, “It’s time for our Vicious Dynamite to be ignited. Now it’s time to put our vision into action. Together we WILL deliver a promising film. See you on the 9th. Until next time.”

Additionally, a film poster was released as SVC’s 59th film on Vijay Deverakonda’s birthday. The post intriguingly read, “The blood on my hands is not their death, but my rebirth.”

Currently, Vijay Deverakonda is busy shooting an action thriller, tentatively titled VD12, written and directed by Gowtam Tinnanuri. The production and post-production teams are working diligently to complete the shoot as soon as possible. 

While there were no major updates from the team on Vijay’s birthday celebrations, they did hint at the film’s shooting location as Visakhapatnam.

On the other hand, Sai Pallavi will next be seen in Thandel opposite Naga Chaitanya. Sai is also part of Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana. She also has Siddharth P Malhotra’s untitled film with Aamir Khan’s son Junaid and Rajkumar Periyasamy’s Tamil film opposite Sivakarthikeyan.
