Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan's wedding rumours have been going around for since long. But now it seems they are finally eager to tie the knot. Speculations are adrift that the Southern couple is planning to marry during the month of December. And that is one of the reasons why the actress has been cutting down on assignments making sure that she has a lot of days vacant for planning and enjoying the wedding. The couple also paid a visit to Shirdi temple, and Mahalaxmi and Siddhivinayak temple in Mumbai a week ago and many believe it was to seek blessings before marriage.
She had expected to complete most of her shooting for Atlee’s next with Shah Rukh Khan before her wedding so that she could be free of any commitments during December. However, due to the arrest of Aryan Khan in the drug case, SRK has kept all his work on hold and no one knows when he will return to work. The shooting for the movie hence has already been delayed and may get delayed indefinitely.
This delay is putting an obstacle in the wedding plans of Nayanthara and Vignesh Shivan who want to make sure that they get married when the risk of COVID-19 is very less and there is relaxation in other norms that were introduced during the pandemic.

On the other hand, marrying Vignesh has been her dream for a long time and according to rumours the couple would have got married last year but the Corona pandemic delayed their marriage. Now that both have adjusted their work schedule to ensure that they have enough free time around their wedding date, the delay in SRK’s project has created a dilemma for Nayanthara.
It is rumoured that if the shooting of the Atlee movie gets delayed further, Nayanthara may decide to leave the project. However, she has already shot a big portion for this flick and may request SRK and Atlee to postpone her shooting to next year.
