In 2017, when married to Samantha Ruth Prabhu, Naga Chaitanya revealed a charming detail about his first kiss during an interview on ‘No.1 Yaari With Rana,’ a talk show hosted by Rana Dagubatti.

During the interactions, the Premam actor candidly shared that his first kiss happened in the ninth grade and added with a laugh, “That kiss worked out for the rest of my life." Around this time, the actor was at the peak of his first married life with Samantha, with who parted ways in 2021.

Samantha and Naga Chaitanya met during the filming of ‘Ye Maaya Chesave’ in 2010 and quickly became friends, even though they were both in other relationships at the time.

In 2014, they reunited on-screen in ‘Autonagar Surya’ and by the next year, Samantha was openly expressing her affection for Naga on social media, calling him her ‘favourite person’. In 2016, Samantha confirmed they were dating, and the couple got eventually engaged and married in 2017.

End of Fairy-Tale Romance:

However, their fairy-tale romance came to an end when they announced their separation in October 2021, just days before their fourth wedding anniversary.

After the split, Naga married model-actor Sobhita Dhulipala in December 2024. Samantha, on the other hand, focused on her career and health. Diagnosed with myositis, an autoimmune disease, she took a break from acting to prioritise her well-being.
