Lokesh Cinematic Universe (LCU) is one of the successful and exciting franchises that has brought several biggies in the South Film Industry. The journey started with Karthi's Kaithi and continued with Universal Star Kamal Haasan's Vikram and Thalapathy Vijay's Leo. While all these movies have created wonders at the box office, Lokesh Kanagaraj has emerged as a brand. Currently busy with Thalaivar Rajinikanth's Coolie, the filmmaker has already revealed about Kaithi 2 and a standalone movie with Suriya's Rolex character from Vikram.
Recently, reports have been abuzz about Rebel Star Prabhas entering LCU. Even Lokesh is interested in Leo 2, but, it depends on Vijay's nod. Notably, Lokesh has revealed about working on Kaithi 2 after wrapping Coolie.
LCU stars to assemble in Kaithi 2!
Recently, reports have surfaced that Lokesh has plans to make Kaithi 2 bigger and brighter by assembling all the stars of LCU in it.
If the reports are anything to go by, moviegoers will get to see Kamal Haasan, Karthi, Suriya, Fahadh Faasil and Vijay in Kaithi 2.
If the report is anything to go by, Lokesh will kickstart shooting for Kaithi 2 in full fledge in early 2025. Moreover, the report suggests it will be a prequel to Kaithi and show Dilli's journey and how he landed in jail.
However, there is no official confirmation from the filmmaker. But, if the report is to be believed, it will be a visual treat for movie lovers to see all their favourite stars assembling in the movie.

Last film of LCU!
Amid the buzz of LCU stars assembling in Kaithi, another report claims that Lokesh has revealed his last movie of LCU.
As per the report, during a recent interview, Lokesh revealed about his plans for LCU.
Lokesh said, “I will be working next on Kaithi 2. I want to make a separate film on Rolex. And then I want to end the universe with Vikram 2. Had Vijay sir not announced his retirement, I would have made Leo 2 as well.”
"I finished writing Kaithi 2, and my whole team is excited. When it comes to Kaithi 2, it is like my home ground. It all started with Kaithi. I am so excited to bring back Dilli character and unleash him. My protagonists don’t have superpowers. They are normal humans who fight with enemies to save their families. They are emotionally tendered and want to achieve a drug-free society,” added Lokesh.
Furthermore, Lokesh talked about his vision for the projects under LCU.

"When the heroes try to bring a drug-free society in films, there is a high chance it might impact the younger audience who look up to their idols," said Lokesh.
Well, now that Lokesh has all his characters ready, he just needs to connect the dots.
