Kunal Kemmu reveals inspiration behind special shot in Madgaon Express triggerin hilarious memes Watch

Kunal Kemmu’s first directorial venture Madgaon Express has been well received by the audience. The comedy thriller has some powerful performances by actors like Divyenndu, Avinash Tiwary, Pratik Gandhi , Upendra Limaye, and Nora Fatehi. It was a funny trip that was inspired by many happenings from the day to day life.

There is one particular scene in Madgaon Express where a truck has been showing in the backdrop that has Vada Pav written on it. Incidentally, the first part of this line is covered and as a result, a funny line is only visible to the audience. This particular scene has been quite a hit on social media with users using that particular clip for creating various memes.

There is one more clip that shows a signpost reading as accident porn by mistake although it should be accident-prone. We often come across such small humours in our day-to-day life that is created due to spelling mistakes on hoardings and signposts or because a particular letter or word has been washed out or covered by some other element.

Speaking about the same recently and whether the inclusion of such signposts and banners that suggested double meaning was intentional, Kunal Kemmu said, “Of course it was intentional. There is a lot of stuff like this that we intended to do and I will tell you why. The reason is in my life I have often come across misspelled boards that I have always thought were very funny. Some of them exist on social media. I remember the first one was when I was growing up and I stood up outside a salon and I thought it was a French salon.”

Kemmu added, “Because I could not understand why it said ‘we cure dandaram’. I thought what is dandaram and then I got it that he has spelled dandruff wrongly. Similarly, I went to a place that said ‘we sell visitable juice’ where vegetable was spelled wrong.”

Kunal Kemmu who started as a child artist has over the years done some good roles both in the movies and on the OTT and his first directorial venture Madgaon Express has also received a lot of love.
