KJO's JJJ: Pakistani singer threatens to slap legal notice, Indian writer alleges story is copied

A leading Pakistani singer and an Indian writer have accused Karan Johar of copying their song and story for his upcoming movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo.

The trailer of Varun Dhawan, Kiara Advani, Neetu Kapoor, and Anil Kapoor’s upcoming movie Jug Jugg Jeeyo was released today. The trailer also features a glimpse of the song Nach Punjaban from the movie. Pakistani singer and politician Abrar Ul Haq has claimed that Dharma Productions has illegally used his song in the movie without taking any permission.

According to the Pakistani singer, around six of his songs have been copied by various Bollywood moviemakers.

Now, it needs to be seen how Karan and his team react to these allegations from both Abrar Ul Haq and Vishal Singh. While the production house, either way, is expected to settle this matter soon, it is indirectly creating a big hype for Jug Jugg Jeeyo.
