The anticipation among fans for Bollywood superstar Salman Khan's upcoming Sikandar is quite high. Helmed by Ghajini fame AR Murugadoss, the movie also stars Rashmika Mandanna, Baahubali's Katappa aka Sathyaraj and Prateik Babbar in crucial roles. Reports also suggest actor Suniel Shetty will also be seen in a major role. Amid the escalating excitement, recent reports suggest that Kick 2 is happening and filmmaker Sajid Nadiadwala confirmed the same.
During a recent interview, Nadiadwala, who directed 2014's blockbuster action comedy Kick, confirmed that the sequel is in the works. During the interview, he revealed that he will begin work on Kick 2 immediately after Sikandar's shooting completion with Salman Khan.
Reportedly, Nadiadwala shared that the script of Kick 2 is nearing completion. He also confirmed directing the sequel as well.
Undoubtedly, the reports of Kick 2 have already triggered excitement among all. While details about the plot and cast remain under wrap, fans are anticipating to see Salman reprising his iconic character of Devi Lal aka Devil.
Notably, Salman Khan's Kick, also starring Randeep Hooda, Mithun Chakraborty, Nawazuddin Siddiqui and Jacqueline Fernandez, in pivotal roles, is a remake of Tollywood's Mass Maharaja Ravi Teja's flick with the same title. The movie emerged as a blockbuster and scripted several box office records. Recently, the movie completed 10 years and Randeep Hooda shared a short clip on social media expressing his gratitude to Sajid Nadiadwala. Well, now that Nadiadwala is reuniting with Sallu, the audience can expect another action-packed flick with a blend of humour from the duo. However, as of now, an official confirmation is awaited from the makers about Kick 2's update.
