KGF Chapter 2 has added another feather to its cap of glory by becoming the highest-grosser movie ever in Odisha.
As per reliable official sources, the Yash starrer Kannada-origin movie has minted over Rs 10 crore only in Odisha before stepping into the third week of its release. Earlier, Prabhas starrer Baahubali 2: The Conclusion was crowned as the highest-grosser movie in the eastern Indian State with Rs 9 crore box office collection.
KGF 2, starring Yash as Rocky Bhai, Sanjay Dutt as antagonist Adheera, Raveena Tandon as Prime Minister Ramika Sen and Srinidhi Shetty as the lady lead Reena, has by now broken several global records.
As per the latest reports, with its remarkable two-week journey, the movie's worldwide collection has already crossed the Rs 900 crore mark.
KGF 3 Craze In Odisha
The Kannada Rocking Star has build a fandom across the globe with his commendable performance in KGF Chapter 1 and Chapter 2. Rocky Bhai aka Yash has built a huge fan base in Odisha too driving many youths and kids go gaga for him.
With the ongoing success of KGF Chapter 2 in the theatres, fans are quite excited about KGF Chapter 3. Though there is no official confirmation from the makers regarding KGF 3, a recent interview of Yash, in which he has hinted about KGF 3, has fuelled up the excitement.
Sonali Kabi, a big fan of the KGF series, said, "I just loved both the parts of KGF. Yash as Rocky Bhai was outstanding. His brilliant on-screen performance gave me goose-bumps. What I experienced in the theatres, every other person in the cinema hall felt the same as the theatre was echoing after every remarkable scene."
Sharing her expectations from KGF 3, Sonali added, "However, Rocky's character and personality shown in Chapter 2 was a bit different than Chapter 1. Rocky seemed to be a bit selfish and less caring for his love (Reena) though he had his own reasons and aims of fulfilling the promise he made to his mother."
"I was expecting some more romantic moments between the duo as everything moved in a fast way and KGF 2 entirely focused on Rocky building his empire and taking down his rivals. I expect that Chapter 3 will reveal what made Rocky so different from what he was earlier. Undoubtedly, I hope that Rocky will rise from the waters to conquer the world and KGF 3 will be much more thrilling and entertaining as compared to KGF 2."
Meanwhile, Itishree Purohit, a movie buff said, "Of course, I expect a lot from KGF Chapter 3. But, the major thing that should be avoided in such male-dominated action movies is avoiding showing the love angle. Srinidhi certainly did a great job in the movie but her character was almost lame as Alia Bhatt's character as Sita in RRR. I hope the movie will show the hidden truth that made Rocky most wanted in 16 countries. Hope the makers will focus on Rocky and his journey of becoming the biggest criminal in the world apart from his love life."
