Bollywood actor Kartik Aaryan is a rare outsider who cemented his place in the industry with his charming looks and stellar performances. Koki has come a long way and is currently busy with multiple projects including Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 and Chandu Champion.
Koki recently delved into his past struggles during a candid conversation with Neha Dhupia on her show No Filter Neha. He also revealed moments of breakdown after facing numerous rejections.
In the preview clip of the upcoming episode of Neha Dhupia's show, the Luka Chuppi actor reminisced about his struggling days in the industry.
Kartik said, "I have done those ads also where I would just hold a placard and stand in front of the camera.”
Further, reflecting on his outsider status, Koki confessed, “I used to cry a lot. I used to feel really bad when I was rejected in so many auditions.”
During a Q&A session on the show, the Shehzada actor humorously awarded the ‘PR ka pyaara award’ to Ranbir Kapoor.
Furthermore, Kartik talked about his forthcoming movie Chandu Champion. He said, "Chandu Champion is one of the toughest films I have ever done.”
Notably, Kartik went on a year-long sugar detox and had to train intensely to play the role of an athlete in Kabir Khan’s directorial.
Rooh Baba in Kolkata!
While fans are eagerly waiting for the updates, currently, Kartik is currently busy shooting the second leg of his upcoming movie Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3 in Kolkata.
Dressed in his character Rooh Baba's attire, Koki posed on Kolkata's Howrah Bridge at 5 am. Several photos and videos of Kartik surfaced on social media.
Kartik is seen in a black robe, bandana, sunglasses, and Rudraksha beads shooting on the famous Howrah Bridge. Even though the area was cordoned off, a large number of fans gathered to catch a glimpse of the actor. In between the shots, Kartik took time to wave and smile at his fans. In another video, he was seen riding a motorbike with a sidecar across the iconic bridge. Kartik also filmed scenes at the Mallick Ghat flower market and Laha Bari in Central Kolkata.
Sharing a behind-the-scenes photo with Kolkata’s iconic yellow taxis in the background, he captioned it, “Kolkata How-rah You" (sic)
