Kareena Kapoor Khan surprised everyone recently when she called herself a ‘KGF girl’ on the national OTT platform. During her appearance on KWK8, Bebo shared how she has watched KGF and her love for it.
Now, it seems it was all well planned as she might well be in discussion with the producers of Yash’s upcoming movie Toxic at that time.
If reports are to be believed, the ‘Poo’ of Bollywood is all set to make her debut in the Sandalwood industry alongside, KGF fame Yash. The movie was announced by Yash last year and the title was unveiled in December 2023.
The details about the movie are not known yet but the latest report from Filmfare says that Kareena Kapoor Khan has been roped in as the leading lady for the film and the makers will announce the star cast in the coming few weeks.
The last few years have seen many leading Bollywood actors working in Southern projects and vice-versa. For example, Raveena Tandon and Sanjay Dutt played important roles in Prashanth Neel-directed KGF 2 whereas Maine Pyaar Kiya fame Bhagyashree worked with Prabhas in Radhe Shyam.
Next, Bollywood superstars Deepika Padukone and Amitabh Bachchan will be seen sharing space with Prabhas in Kalki 2898 AD. Jr NTR has been roped in by YRF for War 2 and Rashmika Mandanna is already working on many Bollywood projects.
Toxic will be the 19th film of Yash, and expectations from the film are super high after the majestic success of KGF and KGF 2. These movies have made Yash a pan-India superstar and now fans are eagerly waiting to see the next avatar of their Rockybhai.
A video seemingly unveiling the first look of Yash’s first look in Toxic was shared by the KGF star last month. It features several anti-heroes as well as the popular DC Comic villain Joker.
