Karan Johar and Kartik Aaryan are collaborating for two movies which is a big surprise to many. When earlier the head of Dharma Productions had a fallout with the young Bollywood actor many thought that Karan and Koki would never work again. However, since both are professionals and want to move ahead in their professional lives they decided to bury the hatchet and work together.
Recently speaking about the same Karan Johar shared some insights regarding his decision to work with Kartik Aaryan despite having a high-profile fallout.

Speaking about how the two reunited Karan Johar recently stated, “I think we internally discussed it, worked it out. And let bygones be bygones and Kartik is an immensely hardworking, very connective big star today who has a wide audience base. Has a great instinct on screenplay. He and I met, decided to collaborate, and came together. It was all lovely.”
“And I had a ..he had. We all had our issues with each other. But I think it’s a tiny industry that I call a family and I believe within a family kabhie gile shikawe ho jate hai but at the end of the day, good people want to make good films and come together to create good content. And you have to let.. as I said you don’t sweat the small stuff. We have the larger vision to look at,” added Karan Johar.

During the same interview, Karan Johar said that it was Hum Aapke Hain Koun who in many ways started the all-family drama movies on a large scale with feel-good songs, dances, and tentpole movies. He also said that it was Hum Aapke Hain Koun that eventually led to Dilwale Dulhaniya Le Jayenge and many similar hits during the 90s.
