Indian musical romantic thriller flick Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai was released 25 years ago. Not only did the movie become a blockbuster, but also won numerous awards and got inducted into the Guinness World Records, Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai gave a phenomenon to the Hindi Film Industry. The lead actors Hrithik Roshan and Ameesha Patel achieved stardom overnight and became sensations with their debut flick. Well, the movie's success sparked a frenzy and created a euphoria. As the movie turns 25 and the audience enjoys the re-release of the movie, here we bring some interesting anecdotes related to Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai which Ameesha Patel recently shared.
Kareena Kapoor was asked to leave?
Fans are well aware that not Ameesha, it was Kareena Kapoor who was all set to debut alongside Hrithik in the movie. Even she had a cameo in the movie, that went unnoticed.
Earlier, it was reported that Kareena walked out of the movie due to a misunderstanding between her mother Babita Kapoor and Hrithik's father and filmmaker Rakesh Roshan. However, recently, Ameesha claimed that Bebo didn't walk out of the movie but was asked to leave.
During a chat with Bollywood Bubble, Ameesha said, "Actually, she (Kareena) didn’t back out. From what Rakesh ji told me, he asked her to leave the film because they were having differences.”
In earlier interviews, Rakesh claimed that interference from Babita was the root cause of Bebo walking out. Later, Ameesha was locked within three days as the lead actress and Bebo went on to make her debut with Abhishek Bachchan in Refugee the same year.

Ameesha got 'letters written in blood' and fans stalked her
During an exclusive chat with HTCity, Ameesha talked about the euphoric period and recalled how she and Hrithik became overnight sensations.
"There were so many people, fans who were taking our pictures to temples and churches and marrying the photos. I would get fan mail letters with the photos of me garlanded, with sindoor and the words 'You belong to me' written on them," she said.
Further, she added, "I would also get hate letters with some saying 'How can you work with Bobby (Deol) and Sunny (Deol)...you belong to me, Sonia'. There were letters written in blood."
The Gadar actress also stated that fans from villages came and stalked her after somehow finding her residence.

Hrithik broke his back during the climax shoot!
In another interview with Zoom, Ameesha also revealed that Hrithik suffered a serious back injury during the climax shoot of Kaho Naa...Pyaar Hai.
While shooting the climax, the action was intense and Hrithik had to take a jump. However, when he jumped, everyone's heart was in their mouth because Duggu had broken his back, revealed Ameesha.
Uske back ki tutne ki awaz, was there. We actually fell and his back was gone and we rushed him to the hospital at 3 in the morning," Ameesha was quoted as saying.
Due to the injury, Kaho Naa... Pyaar Hai was postponed for six months and Hrithik had to go to rehab, revealed Ameesha.
