The sequel might not even carry the title ‘JugJugg Jeeyo.’ Here's everything you need to know about the potential follow-up to this beloved family entertainer.
According to PeepingMoon,’JugJugg Jeeyo 2’ will feature an entirely new story, similar to how Dharma Productions has approached sequels like the Dulhania series, ‘Dhadak,’ and ‘Student of the Year.’ The sequel is rumored to revolve around a spiritual journey. Since the original movie's release in 2022, Karan Johar has hinted at a sequel. Director Raj Mehta is working on a script that balances humour and drama, aiming to make "JugJugg Jeeyo 2" a wholesome family entertainer.
‘JugJugg Jeeyo 2’ will not only feature a new story but also a new star cast. Varun Dhawan is the only confirmed returnee and is expected to play the lead. Tiger Shroff might join the franchise, as Raj Mehta had previously planned an action movie with both actors. If that project doesn't materialize soon, they may collaborate on the ‘JugJugg Jeeyo’ sequel.
While ‘JugJugg Jeeyo 2’ awaits an official announcement, Dharma Productions has several projects in the pipeline.
