YRF Spy Universe's upcoming movie War 2 marks the Bollywood debut of Tollywood superstar Jr NTR. Fans have been eagerly waiting for May 20 to catch the first glimpse of the epic onscreen clash of the RRR actor and Hrithik Roshan. Well, according to a recent report, Aditya Chopra has extensive plans with Jr NTR and his character has a lot more in YRF Spy Universe, not just limited to War 2 with Hrithik Roshan.

Jr NTR's Character Equal To Tiger, Pathaan, Kabir, Zoya and Rubaii?
According to a recent report by ETimes, filmmaker Aditya Chopra is developing an extensive character for Jr NTR and the South actor's involvement in YRF Spy Universe will not be limited to War 2. Chopra is ensuring that his character holds equal weightage to that of Tiger, Kabir, Pathaan, Zoya and Rubaii.
A close source to the development revealed to the publication that Jr NTR's character will have multiple standalone films, spin-offs and extended appearances in projects under the YRF Spy Universe. Further, the source added that Jr NTR's character will be made an integral part of the cinematic universe.
Reportedly, his character will be built following a similar trajectory to how Tiger 3 and Pathaan 2 have been built upon Salman Khan and Shah Rukh Khan's characters, respectively.
However, there is no official statement backing the claims. Fans need to wait for an official confirmation regarding the latest development.

Meanwhile, the makers are all set to unveil the teaser of War 2 on May 20. Helmed by Ayan Mukerji, the movie is scheduled to hit the theatres on August 14, 2025.
