Actress Janki Bodiwala made her Bollywood debut with Shaitaan, starring Ajay Devgn, R Madhavan and Jyothika in the lead. The 29-year-old actress stole the limelight with her powerful performance. Even though it was a remake of Gujarati film Vash (2023), Shaitaan (2024) became a blockbuster. Well, the young actress is once again in the headlines after she revealed why she gave a nod to Shaitaan.

Why Janki Gave A Nod To Shaitaan?
During a recent interview with Filmfare, Janki Bodiwala disclosed that one particular scene, where her character was required to urinate on screen, was a major reason she agreed to do the film.
Janki said, "I had done the same scene in the Gujarati version of the film. During the workshop, director Krishnadev Yagnik, who’s a wonderful person, asked if I would be comfortable doing the scene for real."
Further, she added, "I said yes because as an actor, I felt it was an extraordinary opportunity. Something no one had done before."
However, the young actress explained that the scene was never actually filmed due to logistical challenges and the need for multiple retakes.
The actress said that the scene was practically not possible on the set. However, it remains a favourite scene for her as it gave her the chance to explore something that she would never do in real life. For her, it was exciting and artistically satisfying.

Notably, Janki Bodiwala, born and raised in Gujarat, made her acting debut with 2015's Chello Divas. Later on, she worked in multiple movies and carved a name for herself in the regional cinema. After her impactful Bollywood debut in 2024, she bagged a role in YRF's Mardaani 3, alongside Rani Mukerji.

Moreover, following the success of Shaitaan, Panorama Studios has confirmed that two sequels, Shaitaan 2 and Shaitaan 3, are in development. Janki might reprise his role in the sequels as well. Even, the makers are reportedly building a horror cinematic universe, with Shaitaan being a part of it.
