Tollywood filmmaker Prasanth Varma has become the talk of the town following the monstrous success of HanuMan. Now, all eyes are on his upcoming projects under Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe (PVCU). Recently, Varma announced his third project under the franchise, Mahakali. While the filmmaker is all set to launch a new face as the first woman superhero, the latest report suggests that Kantara star Rishab Shetty is locked to play the lead in the much-awaited flick Jai Hanuman.
Rishab Shetty to essay Lord Hanuman!
Earlier, several reports surfaced speculating the lead actors in Jai Hanuman. While a few reports suggested Mahesh Babu and Chiranjeevi may be seen as Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman, others claimed that Varma is interested in roping in popular Bollywood actors for the lead roles. Though Varma's first choice for Lord Hanuman is Megastar Chiranjeevi, the Stalin actor probably has other commitments.
However, the latest reports suggest that after brainstorming for a long time, Varma has confirmed his lead for Jai Hanuman.
If the reports are anything to go by, Kanatara fame Rishab Shetty, who recently was honoured with a National Award, will play the lead in Jai Hanuman.
Well, considering Rishab's physical attributes, he will probably fit into Lord Hanuman's character. Moreover, he has already proven that he can nail any character with his captivating performance on screen.

Extravagant VFX for PVCU
Prasanth Varma has already cleared the air that he will not direct all the movies under PVCU. Though he will develop the scripts with his creative thoughts, Varma will only direct Mokshagna's yet-to-be-titled movie and Jai Hanuman, as of now.
Meanwhile, Varma is completely focused on elevating his visual storytelling to another level. Reportedly, he is assembling a dedicated VFX team to turn his ambitious projects lively.
After the humongous success of HanuMan, Varma has recognised the crucial role of VFX and understands the need for a skilled and experienced team. Thus, he is actively engaging with VFX experts and aims to build a full-fledged VFX team that will work only with Varma to fulfil his requirements for his cinematic universe.
Cinejosh in its report quoted a close source to the director as saying, Socio-fantasy films demand a high volume of VFX shots, often exceeding 1200 to 1600 shots, to create believable and immersive fantasy worlds."
Further, the source also acknowledged that such demanding projects require a specialised and dedicated team to achieve the targeted desires.
To ensure a visual spectacle, he is starting with a team of 10-12 VFX experts. The number of experts will gradually increase with the intensity of work.
