Bollywood Superstar Aamir Khan's nephew Imran Khan has been away from films for a long time now. Though reports have been abuzz for quite a while now about Imran's comeback, there has been no update. Last seen in 2015's Katti Batti, the actor had earlier revealed the reason for his disappearance and why he wanted to end his career as an actor. Well, recently Aamir Khan made a shocking revelation that his nephew Imran Khan doesn't 'fit' in Bollywood backed by a surprising reason.

Why Imran Khan Doesn't 'Fit' in Bollywood?
During a recent chat with SCREEN, Aamir Khan stated that Imran Khan isn't comfortable with 'herogiri' and thus he finds it difficult to 'fit' in Bollywood.
Khan was quoted as saying, "Imran has a certain creative instinct. He finds it difficult to fit into the mainstream construct we have. That’s not his natural space. Which is why he’d do really well in a film like Jaane Tu and Delhi Belly. He’s in his element there."
Further, he added, "But the moment you put him into a regular Hindi film, he won’t fit. He’s not comfortable with herogiri. He wants to play a real person. Everybody was offering him mainstream films because he’s good-looking. But he wants to be an actor, and not a star."
Imran Khan's Journey In the Tinsel Town
Imran Khan debuted as a child artist with brief roles in Qayamat Se Qayamat Tak and Jo Jeeta Wohi Sikandar. Later, 2008's Jaane Tu...Ya Jaane Na marked his adult debut. His boy-next-door charm and natural acting style made him an instant favourite among the youth and catapulted him to fame. Later on, he appeared in a series of romantic comedies and light-hearted films.

However, after 2012, his career started declining. Following a series of flops, Imran started declining movie offers expressing dissatisfaction over the roles offered to him. He stepped back from acting. Notably, in 2023, he hinted at a possible comeback. However, there have been no updates on it. Undeniably, fans can't wait for his comeback.
