All eyes are on the next-gen star kids. While several star kids have made their debuts in the past few years, now Bollywood will mark the debut of another star kid. After Saif Ali Khan ’s daughter Sara Ali Khan , his son Ibrahim Ali Khan will soon debut in B Town.
As per the latest reports, Ibrahim will debut under Karan Johar’s banner Dharma Productions. The buzz suggests that Ibrahim is all set to step into Bollywood with a crime thriller that will revolve around Kashmiri terrorists.
Moreover, the reports also suggest that Kajol and Prithviraj Sukumaran will be seen in major roles in Kayoze Irani's directorial. The emotional thriller set against the backdrop of terrorism in Kashmir will have a major focus on the characters of Ibrahim, Kajol and Prithviraj.
If the reports are anything to go by, this movie will reunite old friends after 12 years, who had parted their ways. Yes, it is Kajol and Kjo.
Karan and Kajol have been friends since their childhood. The duo has worked on a bunch of blockbuster projects like Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai, Kabhi Khusi Kabhi Gham, et all. However, the bond between the duo worsened after Dharma Productions’ Ae Dil Hai Mushkil and Ajay Devgn’s Shivaay clashed at the box office. Though reports were abuzz that the differences between them settled, they didn’t work together after 2010’s My Name Is Khan.
Now, after 12 years, the duo has united for the project. And the more exciting subject is the duo will unite for the project that will mark the debut of Ibrahim.
Even, Saif shares a good bond with Kajol as well as Ajay, and the duo has worked in several movies together.
A source close to the development said that Kajol will play an emotionally strong character and will share the maximum screen time with Ibrahim. “Kajol is thrilled to act with his son now in his very first film. Ibrahim has also started his prep and is readying himself to share screen space with seasoned actors like Kajol,” the source was quoted as saying.
However, there is no official confirmation from the makers or the actors as of now confirming the claims.
