Jacqueline Fernandez and Sidharth Malhotra have worked on a movie called A Gentleman released a few years ago. Although the movie did not do well at the box office, the pairing of Sid and Jaccky was loved by everyone. They convincingly came across as the made-for-each-other couple on the big screen with their strong chemistry.
When they were promoting A Gentleman, Sid and Jacqueline Fernandez gave multiple interviews. During one such interview, several fans were allowed to asks questions to the two actors. One of the fans asked Sidharth Malhotra , “After getting a chance to kiss Jacqueline in the movie did you develop feelings for her?”
While Jaccky laughed out loud, Sid put a hand on his hard in a funny way and said, “There was a lot of… I developed feelings, anxiety, there was some intensity so I was feeling warmer, the temperature was rising and ..” In between Jacqueline even funnily joked saying, “He still cannot get over it.”
The Shershah actor continued saying, “Very excited, the rush and I was happy when the director would say cut and I was happy to do one more. So we are very dedicated actors, we kept getting retakes to get the intimacy right, to get the chemistry right, we prepped a lot, and thanks man that’s what actors do you know. So we worked really hard and so on.”

Answering another question about why Sidharth Malhotra is A Gentleman, Jacqueline said, “He is a gentleman because he allowed me to ride with him on his bike, he is a gentleman because he cooks food for me all the time and brings me food and he is such a gentleman because always kind of call me up and check me out and he is so concerned and he is a thorough gentleman any girl could ask for.”
